She stood out of a crouching position and watched Issil more cautiously now. Perhaps with a measure of fear... "Than you are a servant of the light one... Why does she send you here?"

"I told you already. I was sent to find you... She told me I needed to tell somebody her goddess had not given up on her. I guess that basically sums up why I'm here, Talon." Issil responded. He was nervous, unsure what to say. After all this was his first time trying to help Case.

"Then... Then I can still please her." Talon looked down at the claws of her hands. "It cannot be too late to stop Growl..."

Issil was absolutely not sure of what was going on. He did not know who Growl was. He did not know Talon until now... But still he nodded. "Yes. You can still stop him." It didn't hurt to give her a little confidence, right? After all if that was how she was supposed to help CS, he wouldn't want to make her feel like she couldn't do it. He made a mental note to ask Case who Growl was. After all, it didn't hurt to know information either.

"You." Talon rushed up to him, placing both hands on his shoulders. "You called yourself Issil, yes? We both serve the goddess, surely you will help me against Growl? He is a servant of the Dark one, who's plans can only be evil." Growl is Talon's enemy, back in her time her kind the Raptors were at war with the Tyrants. The Raptors worshiped me, and the Tyrants my evil sister. Growl was the strongest of all the Tyrants and their leader, his goal was to entirely wipe Talon's race from existence. Though nature nearly did it, because of our intervention both Talon and Growl managed to survive and come to this modern date. Growl still wishes to keep the Raptor race from growing again, while continuing his own, which can only mean no good for Talon. There are still bits of both of their races alive, because of humans playing at gods. Both of them are in a path headed to that of the raptors. If Growl gets his way he'll remove them from existance and all hope of her race's survival will be lost.

Ah humans, always glad to try to play at something they are not. They seem to be content to pass off science as a reason to do whatever they want... Still Growl seems like a right prick to say the least. Issil blinked. He was unsure what to say. After all defeating Growl seemed more of her mission than his. Still the least he could do was agree to assist her. After all she was right. He and Talon were both alike in that they 'served the goddess'. He did his best to smile at her. After all she did have a pretty good grip on his shoulders and she was intimidating to say the very least.
"Yes, my name is Issil..." His expression fell from lighthearted to serious. "And I agree."

Talon's eyes brightened and she quickly had him in an embrace. "Thank you Issil, servant of the light one, I will not forget your help." Case laughed lightly. Raptors are very expressive, especially those back from their proper time.

Issil blinked, his body stiffening for a second or two before he relaxed. He was unsure if he wanted to hug her back. Then again why not? He embraced her back until he she let him go. "You're welcome, Talon." Seems so!

Talon let go of him and then pointed off in the distance. "I have been tracking Growl, he is headed this way for some reason. We need to catch up with him."

Issil thought, attempting to see if he remembered what was off in that direction. He found he could not recollect it. Still he flashed a grin as white as his fur. "I'm sure we can manage it. After all how hard can it be to find him? ...Besides you have practice in tracking him, correct? No doubt we can find him and then find out where and why he's heading wherever he is heading."
(ABUSE OF THE WORD FIND. Sorry!)

She nodded back and lowered herself. "How fast can you go Issil? I do not want you to lose me when we start." There was a flash of amusement in her eyes.

Issil shrugged. "Fairly fast... It depends if I fly or I go on foot. It's a lot of muscle work either way but I'm quicker in the air. Why, how fast can you go?" He had never seen a Raptor before let alone seen one run so it was a fair question.

Talon smirked. "Fast enough that I'll have to go slow if you want a chance of keeping pace with me." Her back claws dug into the dirt at her feet. "I'd say you fly if you're faster at that, less time wasted the better."

He jumped into the air with a simple bunching of muscles and opened his wings. He flapped only three times to remain airborne and hovered before her. Issil nodded. "Then let's get moving. The less time we waste talking, the better. If I'm really going to slow you down a significant amount, we have no time to spare."

She nodded and then the raptor kicked off. Taking off down the path she had been tracking Growl.
