(Ah, but it would still reek of decay. Those sorts of smells reaaaaally linger. =A= )
Following the smell, Cato steeled himself for the worst- Really, when he thought about it, it was likely that being kicked constantly at home was worse than a quick death by whatever this curse did... At least when he weighed out the positives of the situation at hand (Or maybe he was just stupid). Either way, he soon found the kitchen and stood outside the door. "Ah... May I come in?"
He should still be polite though...

(Not as much since Blood drained the bodies dry originally, and the spiders would pick at the rest... And... How would you know >.> *wonders what Usagi's hiding in her basement*)
Blood glanced over at him, and then nodded. "Of course." She looked back to the bubbling stew. She had made far more than was neccessary... She'd have extra for awhile she judged.

(xD I do LOTS of research for my murder fanfics. And there's nothing in the crawlspace here. *pushes rotting head under rug. NO ONE WILL NOTICE!* )
The goat walked in, Cato looking in at the vegetable stew that Blood was cooking. "It looks good..." Now that he thought about it, there was nothing else in the kitchen... Did she not need to eat? (Being able to cook was an incredible feat then, in his opinion.)

"Thank you but..." She shrugged and went on with stirring the soup. "I don't know how good it will be, I havn't had to cook anything for anyone for some while."

Cato chose not to ask just how long- Partially because of the note, but also because he'd been told that asking a woman her age was just plain rude. Either way, he smiled. "It smells good too- I'm sure it'll be fine."

She smiled back and then took the large pot off the rather ancient looking stove and onto a table. Having little difficulty lifting it. "I think it's ready now."

Watching as Blood did this, he nodded. "Um... Do you need any help..? I could get bowls or something..."

"No, it's fine." She went over to a set of shelves, reaching up and opening a taller one, just barely able to reach a bowl, then a spoon from a lower shelf. She set them on the table.

Cato was silent for a little bit. "Hn... You're not hungry then...?" Maybe he was right about her not needing food...

"No, I'm fine." She looked at the bowl, noticing a large crack in it she shook her head. She didn't know why'd she not replaced that one yet and went for another. This time rather than putting too much effort into stretching for it she simply crawled up the side of the wall a little... It was then she realized her mistake.

He stared. Did she just...
Shaking his head, he passed it off- Maybe most mobians could do that, who knew- Not like there were any others aside from him where he lived. Coughing, he spoke. "Um... Do you do that often...?"

She nodded slowly, grabbing the bowl and coming down to land on her feet gently. "Yes it's... One of my powers..."

He blinked, a bit nervous, but trusting nonetheless. "It seems useful... Is that why some places upstairs aren't connected with stairs then?" The goat had to admit, he was fairly curious about all of this.

Blood nodded, setting the bowl down she began to poor soup into it for Cato. "My tower was made that way, the upper levels aren't really used though... I only go up there if I feel like moving away from the ground."

Cato nodded, picking up the spoon beside the bowl as soup was poured into it. Waiting until it was done being poured in, he smiled back at her. "Thank you again, Blood." With that he carefully dipped the spoon in to sip some... "Ach! Hot!!" The spoon fell onto the edge of the bowl, the goat fanning his mouth now. Really, how could he forget to cool it down first!!
