Radom stepped by the large section where all the trees had been torn down, she shook her head at such unneccisary destruction. "Well we'll get moving as quick as..." She looked back at him, tilting her head and examining him for a moment. "Your wing Spode..."

Spode paused then tilted his head. "What about it?" He asked.

Radom stepped towards him, undoing the bindings that held it stuck in place.

Spode blinked, watching her. Once his wing was free he felt it flex, albeit slightly stiffly. After all he hadn't properly moved it or stretched it for a bit.

"It's... Healed..." She mumbled quietly, brushing a hand across the feathers just gently. "Maybe... Maybe Deathsong did this..."

He looked at it and frowned. Spode ran his hand over the feathers himself, feeling no little shocks of pain as he should have. "It seems to be so... I presume she wanted us to really get to our destination as fast as possible. That can't be good."

Radom nodded. "But maybe we can use it against her, right?" The golden Echidna tilted her head, examining him with his wings spread out.

Flexing the feathers and such just to loosen up his joints, the dingo nodded. "We should be able to. I'll be much more mobile now that I can fly again. That means no more issues with slow movement. That plus my wind powers is a good boost I'm sure."

She nodded, watching him in silence a moment longer. Finally she smiled. "You look better now with your wings strong and free... Your whole body and essense seems stronger, and it suits you."

Under his fur, Spode blushed at her compliment. He refolded them- this time at a relaxed position- and smiled softly. "Thanks Ra. I like it better too when I can fly. Despite being a dingo I belong in the air more than on the ground."

Radom looked off into the distance, to where she knew Angel Island was, and mumbled something like "Maybe later." She turned towards the distant mountains and nodded back to him. "Let's go, it's a long hike."

Spode nodded. He opened his wings again and flew low, beside her instead of above her. He kept pace well even if he was a bit ahead at times when he first flapped his wings to keep from falling while gliding every once in a while. "I'm sure we can handle it, right?"

She gave him a smug sort of look. "I know I can, I don't know about you though."

Spode couldn't help but chuckle. "I'll do my best to keep up, Ra." He simply smiled instead of being smug back.

Radom looked up at him, and actually slowed down to a stop.
