Name: Fang
Gender: Male
Race: (Cloned) Raptor
Age: 17
Appearance: Fang is an almost lanky looking Raptor compared to the average male. He has muscle of course but not enough to make him exceptionally strong nor weak. He is slightly taller than is normal, however. This at least makes up for what he lacks in strength. Speed is his main source of power and in battle he uses momentum gained from his body structure to add power to his strikes.
His body is simply dark brown in colour with a lighter brown on his chest and under his tail (ends about mid-way down his tail's length). The flexible spines down his back are a nice grey (the same as his claws) and tipped in red. This shade of red is much like the one of the stripes on his arms, tail, and down his back only a little darker.
In the way of clothing, Fang doesn't seem to much believe in it. His chest is bare as are his arms, feet, and hands. The only things he does wear are a pair of loose brown shorts (with a black strip of cloth tied around it as a belt) and a bracelet on his right wrist (it is a piece of leather with the fossilized teeth of a T-rex attached).
Abilities: - As mentioned above, Fang is a little faster than the average Raptor due to his height. This obviously assists in swift (though not very powerful) strikes.
- Fang has a sort of "rage form" where he will put himself in the way of danger simply for the sake of a fight's victory. This is when he is extremely violent and angry and will simply pounce on the opponent at his top speed, tearing with his claws and teeth with all of his might.
- Since Fang is a modern Raptor, he knows a lot about technology and things in the modern world. This helps him a lot as he knows how to fit in as well as utilize any technology that happens to be around even if he would prefer not to
Personality: Fang's personality shifts a little but he generally remains a typical Raptor in that he is very expressive, albeit not as expressive as his ancestors. He also has a tendancy to growl loudly when he dislikes things. He is a little headstrong but nothing when compared to an ancient Raptor.
History: A "modern day" Raptor's life is hard, always will be. They are cloned in a lab and hatched as an egg where often forcibly removed from the shell. Never forgetting that first person they see, a clone can only hope they see somebody's face they don't learn to hate. Fang was no exception.
After the acquisition of the ability to clone, human kind went on a quest of sorts. They attempted to create the impossible. What they achieved was much like a prediction, the movie "Jurassic Park". The idea was scrapped. However years later after the sturdy foundation had been laid and Dinosaur DNA was really found the experiments began. One of several, Fang was from the very first clutch of eggs which hatched seventeen years ago.
Science is always moving forward, unstable and unfortunate. However one development was something he would never forget. Time. At the moment of his hatching he never quite understood the concept of it. After all why should an invisible force be able to weather a person like wind and water did to a stone? It didn't make sense... that is until he met somebody who had traveled in it.
The lab he had grown up in wasn't much to behold. Extensive training and teaching the young Raptors was always under way. The humans were fascinated by resourcefulness as well as ingenuity. So long as they had their play things, they were amused. However they never thought Fang would escape to the outside world. Perhaps one had been born just a little too intelligent for their likings. If he had been captured surely they would have killed him or restrained him in some way. Lucky for him he wasn't caught.
Talon, a prehistoric Raptor, and Growl, a T-rex from the same time period, both ended up in Fang's time through some strange event. Obviously Fang hadn't expected it. Growl in his determination to destroy the young Raptorscaused an explosion which indeed did destroy the labs and the humans in it. (The explosion was actually caused by Hatred, one of Cade's children. He took the form of Issil who was present to assist Talon by order of Case and destroyed the lab when Issil caused him severe damage.) The baby Raptors and even the adult ones inside perished. Fang returned shortly after to see the destruction. He was alone. Still he was surprised, intrigued, and terrified to meet Talon. Fang had been inside the building fighting Growl with Issil and Talon at the time. When Growl and Hatred made their exit, Growl sealed the three of them inside of the lab. The three of them escaped but they were the only survivors. Still Fang was happy to have met Talon despite the loss of the other Raptors. She was a true Raptor unlike himself who was just a simple clone as before mentioned, still he could not help but admire her. (Not a love or crush thing, it's more like somebody admiring another person as their hero or rolemodel. This is especially true since he had to battle her to prove himself a true Raptor and he got a good look at her skill level. Fang is determined not to lose her good opinion of him.)
Other: Nothing at the moment.
