Radom glared at Ulrich, holding her ground though she wanted to rush at him. "You won't fight fair, because you know you can't win." She shifted on her feet, uncomfortable not being able to do anything. "This is how you plan to get the Emerald? By using your brother as a bargaining chip?"

He shrugged with a simple shift of his shoulders, a gesture that made his wings rise and fall like they were individual entities. It was rather odd. "If it works. I do what I do to survive. Now hand it over or Spode will not."
A growl escaped the dingo and he stopped being limp in Ulrich's grip. He kicked back, hoping to hit the wolf. He received a 'tsk tsk' sort of sound and his vision went black. Ulrich obviously hadn't felt like dealing with resistance.

Radom licked her lips and slowly brought out the Chaos Emerald. She looked down at the deep red gem and then up at Ulrich. "Okay... Fine..." Her grip around it tightened, she gathered energy within herself. It had been awhile since she had drawn upon this sort of energy... But she hoped it worked. "I'll give it to you... I'll hand over the emerald, the Chaos..." The gem flashed and the next word she spoke was not 'Emerald'. It was... "CONTROL!" The was a bright flash of light and she was gone. Something hit Ulrich's arm hard and pulled it off of Spode and then the Dingo was gone as well. And Ulrich was all alone in the jungle clearing.

Ulrich let out a howl of anger which rang through the jungle and frightened the easier provoked animals living within its sanctuary. The spires of earth and the damage done melted back together as if he'd never cracked its surface. A low growl escaped his throat as he clenched his teeth. If they were in his range as long as their feet touched the earth they wouldn't escape. He wouldn't let them.
