The door to the ship opened once Control was certain there was breathable air outside. He stepped into the docks and looked around at wonder at the large room that was only the start to entering the Space Colony Ark... This was the first time he had ever stepped aboard the massive space station. G.U.N had finally allowed him the request of sending him up to the site that marked the end of Gerald's Legacy, he was pretty certain they only finally gave in was to get him out of their hair. He wanted to come up here and salvage the technology of the past's greatest scientific mind, he knew that today's Eggman had not made anything as advanced as Gerald's project Shadow, and was only barely catching up to Gerald's Eclipse Cannon... Control figured that if Eggman could take advantage of the dead professor's work then why couldn't the rest of the world?
Control looked back at the ship, at the lone other man that had joined him on this ship. A human, just a recruit pilot of G.U.N, Control had needed a co-pilot to fly the ship so they had given him someone expendable. Control knocked on the side of the hatch. "Hey, aren't you coming? This place is huge, and full of all kinds of forgotten treasures." Scientific treasures... But still.
"Yeah, and full of berserk experiments. I've read the logs about those Artificial Chaos things. I'm staying here where it's safe." The recruit pulled out a magazine to read and Control turned his head, knowing full well what type of magazine he had brought along. Control just wished G.U.N could have sent him someone who would keep their mind on their work.
"Fine then, I prefer working alone anyway." Control shrugged and entered the hallways. "Turning on communication device. Do you read me Swift?"
A moment's pause.
Then a robotic voice spoke up. "I detect a moment's delay in all communication. But no static, all systems are running rather smooth."
Control smiled, glad the system he had set up was working as intended. "Alright, I'll start recording." He pushed a button on the side of his specially modified pair of glasses.

A glimmer of light was seen by a corner of a wall for only a split second while the two spoke. Short worried breaths were coming from a small alcove in the wall. Whatever it was was trying it's hardest not to be seen or heard.

Control paused, his ears twitching in response to the breaths. "Hang on a sec Swift... I think I heard something..."
"I did not pick up anything." The voice, Swift, paused. "But then I am certain your Canine hearing is better than this equipment."
"I'm turning off audio for a minute so I can hear better." Control did as he said he would and listened carefully, to hear those breaths again.

An interesting, and rather disgusting, slurping sound was heard as whatever it was retreated into a small puddle of water.

Control paused hearing the sounds. He had heard of the Artificial Chaos as well... His fists clenched he moved swiftly and quietly towards the sound. Until he was almost upon it, he turned a corner and came face to face... With a puddle.

A panic-stricken voice rang in Wolf's head. ~GET OUT! GET OUT OF HERE NOW! I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU PEOPLE!!~ The voice was noticeably female, and had a metallic twang to it. Under Wolf's nose the puddle vanished and began squirming, almost like a fish, down the hallway at a rather alarming speed.

Control was stunned as the voice went out like that. He watched for a moment as the puddle disappeared down the hallway and as it did his mind cleared again. That's when he realized that Artificial Chaos didn't have any ability of speech... He chased after it, determined to know what was going on with this odd creature.

As soon as she noticed the wolf following her, she stopped and stretched herself so she loomed over him twice his size.

Control took a step back and braced himself in case it... She decided to attack. "I... I come in peace. I have no honest idea what you meant by 'you people' earlier, if you really did say that and I'm not just going insane that is."

The Artificial Chaos stopped, and seemed to collapse and she returned to her normal form about three feet tall; about Control's shoulder. She looked exactly like Chaos, with the exception of a metal faceplate and large green eyes. Over her left eye was an iridescent red streak with that appeared to be coding in it; a means of identification, as well as a anklet on her left leg which bore an inscription "Model: GM3T". ~You're a G.U.N soldier, aren't you?~ She snapped.

Now that was a bit like an Articial Chaos was supposed to look like, but this one was taking more of the actual Chaos' shape instead of just a blob with a robot head. "I'm a mercenary, it means I only work for G.U.N part time on odd missions, rest of the time goes to my own work." He defended himself.

She crossed her arms. ~I still don't know if I can fully trust you. But to answer you, yes, that was me speaking. I speak through telekinesis.~ Her eyes wandered.~I suppose I should introduce myself: I am Model GM3T, the third of five of the advanced Artificial Chaos...~ She appeared to mutter under her breath. ~...and the only one alive.~

"I'm Control." He introduced himself. "I promise, I did not come here with the intention to bother you, I didn't even know before now that there were 'Advanced' Artificial Chaos." Technically he had not come here to bother her, but to search for Gerald's technology... Which is what she would be. But he really never planned on finding something... Sentient.

She laughed. ~Of course. There's a lot of technology here that G.U.N didn't discover. Me and my brothers being just some of it. I worked on a lot of the non-intelligent stuff myself.~ She glanced back up at him with pupil-less eyes. ~Speaking of technology, I understand you and your colleague are looking for some of that secret technology.~

Control realized too late she was in his head, she could tell everything he was thinking... He wondered if there was a way to prevent that, he'd have to think of it later as she was likely listening to his thoughts right now. He may as well be honest to her in his answers, she would be able to tell. "I am, only two of us came here and the other isn't at all interested in the technology."
