Radom stepped up out of the tunnels that lead to the higher mountaintops. She looked out at the sea, knowing the jungle was on the other side of the mountain from them. She smiled, from here she could even see Angel Island... It looked like maybe a days long walk but really so long as it was up in the air she couldn't reach it. Looking back the golden Echidna waited for Spode to catch up.

Spode caught up soon after, panting. Being a canine it was a fight for him to keep his tongue from hanging out... because quite frankly that would have been disgusting. Still he was thankful for the cooler- albeit more humid- weather that came with climbing mountains. After all while it made his clothes cling to his fur and that was slightly uncomfortable, it brought a nice breeze which the bird half of him clearly appreciated even if he could not fly due to the condition of his wings.

Radom smiled at him and continued walking down the path, backwards so that it was easier for him to keep up. "I love coming up here, because I can almost always see Angel Island just over the sea, if it was on land it would only be a tiny swim to get there. It's always moving a little too so sometimes it would be right ontop of us."

He nodded. "It's beautiful to say the least!" Spode couldn't help but admire the scenery. After all, he had flown ain the air above mountains and above seas before but he had never really passed by them on foot where he could really slow down to look around.

Radom laughed and spun around a little as she went along. "You should see Angel Island... It's one of the few things that haven't changed since my time, and far more beautiful than this land."

"More beautiful?" Spode asked. That really did stun him. This place was amazing. What could be better than the mountain? "...Perhaps I really should see Angel Island one of these days. After all if it really has not changed since you lived there then it must be amazing. Anything than can withstand time is worth viewing."

Radom smiles. "Mountains don't change much because just how strong they stand. Jungles change so very much, but because it's such a wild and unpredictable place to start with no one notices, and so it really doesn't change. That's what I like about it."

"I suppose continuity is a good thing..." Spode agreed. "I admit I'm not much used to things staying the same over long periods of time. Even where I grew up is probably different than I remember it and that's behind a waterfall."

"Oh?" She stopped. "Behind a waterfall? I'm certain you have quite the story to go along with that?"

He nodded. "Just a little but of one. As you could probably have guessed, it's not natural that Ulrich, Archer, and myself are all siblings. After all it's just impossible for a wolf with hawk wings, a hyena with sparrow wings, and a dingo with albatross wings to be completely blood related. We were... created I suppose is the best term. The place were were 'born' exists behind a waterfall."

"By created do you mean..." She paused a moment. "Created like with magic into existance or... The term my friend Control uses for when he builds something, like those people he calls 'robots'?"

"Neither really... Magic is not science. The two actually conflict quite a lot. Also building a robot is an artificial intelligence not true life as you can see I am as well as my siblings happen to be. It was really more genetic engineering for lack of a proper term. It was splicing DNA tediously to create Ulrich. Once he was made the old man who made us wanted more. We became his adopted children... Me being the second and Archer coming two years later."

Radom rubbed the back of her head. "I've never heard those words before. 'DNA' and 'genetic engineering."

"Umm... well DNA is actually short for a very long word that I won't go into because I fail at pronouncing it. Basically it's the very very tiny things everyone is made of. Genetic engineering simply means editing genes- what said DNA is made of- to create something new. Splicing is the type used to make me... Where different animals are mixed." he said trying to explain. "Bit of a tough concept at first, eh?"

(Explaining Genetics to Radom = FAIL)
"A tough concept after too... So... This man... Breeded a... Dog... With some sort of bird?" Radom tilted her head, it still seemed like weird magic to her... As Spode certainly didn't seem like a 'robot'. His body was warm and soft, covered in fur, not like Swift who was covered in metal.
