Fang used her momentum against her. He spun with her and tilted his body. Instead of going down however she would be forced to land awkwardly with her back on the ground and her stomach scrunched against her legs. Fortunately for Fang he could simply keep his weight even between his two feet. Unfortunately this meant she had the ability to bend her knees again. No more leg-lock.

Talon hissed and twisted again, she was a bit heavier than the male and the fact it was his arms against her legs meant she could put far more strength into the struggle than he could. She twisted out of his grasp and rolled away to gain distance.

Fang held himself back, watching her carefully. He didn't budge. Inwardly he noted her skill level, mildy impressed. No Raptors gave him this kind of challenge save for a very small number. Still he didn't intend for his defeat just yet. She would regret her insults.

Talon stood, stretching her back. He was a good opponent... Fighting better than she had expected he would. It was too bad she could not show her skills that gave her the title 'Blade Daughter' as she did not think she wanted to kill him...

Fang glowered, his hands raised in a defensive position in front of his face. His stance was slightly wide but he kept his tail close to make up for it. Another quick whip from it could easily keep her from wanting to come close. They were at a stalemate for now.

Talon considered a few options at this moment, knowing the most direct one would end up her getting struck but... It would also work the best. And so she acted. Taking the most direct path she jumped at him, taking whatever form of attack he made at her, but it did not stop her. Her arms wrapped around his neck and the force of her flying into him knocked them both onto the ground. It was not an attack though, she was not trying to choke him, or pin him to claw at, she was just clinging onto him. Eyes closed shut and her tail wrapping around him as well.

Fang didn't know how to defend this. He had never been pinned. Still he did his best to try to struggle out. Though once her tail got a hold of him he was done. He growled low in the back of his throat and glared at her defenseless.

Talon let go of him and sat up, though she was still kinda pinning him down as she was sitting on him. Her eyes focused on his. "Forgive me... I was mistaken, you are not a fake."

Fang's lip uncurled, concealing his sharp teeth again. The growling stopped and his face changed back from a fighter's expression to a respectful one. "I thank you... You are a talented fighter yourself Blade Daughter. I admire your skill."

"I was just... Skeptical to thinking you were real... I come from a time ago, brought here by powerful magics... Back when our kind was more or less the dominate species, and I thought we were all dead." Talon didn't have tear ducts, but if she had she likely would have cried just a little.

Understanding, Fang nodded. "I suppose I would be too... but I assure you I am flesh and blood. Even if I am not spawned the same as you were I am a Raptor as are the others here. Even the youngest of us run on instinct and skill as we should."

Then it hit Talon, her head darted to Issil. Alarm in her eyes and voice. "This is why Growl is here! He knows there are raptors here, he wants to eliminate the last of my race."

Issil clenched his fists. His wings snapped open. "Then we have to stop him. Let's move!"
"Wait!" Fang called. A growl came from his chest and rumbled through the room. "I know this place inside and out. You'll need me to guide you. Plus I don't intend at all to let the other Raptors here be killed. Some aren't even hatched yet. That's a massacre I intend to prevent!"

Talon glanced back at him with a nod. "You can help but... Growl is dangerous, he's unlike anything you've likely seen befo-" That was right about when the door to the room shattered open along with part of its supports. With a roar the great beast stepped into the room, he was covered in dark gray scales and massive. He looked much like a raptor mobian only he was twice the size as any of them, thick in every aspect of his body from legs, to tail, to arms. He wore armor made of bone over himself, and his weapons were the very large claws on his hands. Talon hissed at him, immediately going into a fighting stance to face her oldest enemy.

Fang snarled. His eyes were wide and flashing, brightly showing his mixed emotions. While he was frightened he knew a Raptor did not give up a fight. Plus he was in front of Talon and he would not want to show cowardice and undo the results of their battle. He dropped into more of a defensive stance than she did but it was still ready to battle.
Personally, Issil didn't like the look of Growl. He didn't think the dinosaur looked very easily beaten. Still fireballs lit both of his fists and flickered in the bottom edge of his eyes. His wings flared. Good thing they were inside the arena and the room was at least semi-big. It would be enough space to properly fly and maneuver in should he himself join in the battle. Honest how could he not? He had to assist Talon and their potential new friend, Fang... or was he more of an alley than a friend?
